How to get Shalai
From Fontanarossa airport in Catania, follow the road signs to merge onto the A18 highway in the direction of Messina. Leave the highway at the Fiumefreddo exit and continue along the freeway 120 towards Randazzo. Once you have passed the town of Piedimonte Etneo, continue towards Linguaglossa and stay on the main road. At the house number 82, you will find a sign directing you towards Shalai, in the heart of the town of Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Mount Etna.
From Messina, you can take the A18 highway towards Catania, exit at Fiumefreddo Continue along the freeway 120 towards Randazzo. Once you have passed the town of Piedimonte Etneo, continue towards Linguaglossa and stay on the main road. At the house number 82, you will find a sign directing you towards Shalai, in the heart of the town of Linguaglossa, on the slopes of Mount Etna.
From Palermo, you can take the A20 highway until Brolo, then take the exit at Brolo – Capo d’Orlando Est, and travel along the E90 road, then continue on the A19 until you reach Linguaglossa. Otherwise you can take the Palermo-Catania highway and then follow the same route as above. You can call Shalai to reserve a chaperone that can escort you to and from the hotel.
